can't make or receive calls in the USA

I am currently using the $30 a month unlimited mins in Canada and the USA 20 GB. During my visits to the USA. I can text and use my data , but my phone cannot receive or I cannot make any phone calls. Is the problem with my phone? I am using a Motorola 5G phone. Any help to solve this issue will be appreciated!

in order to successfully talk while in USA using Public Mobile, you MUST have a cell that has VoLTE AND is recognized by Public Mobile as not all are. Here's some reading and a checker at bottom of page.
