best plan for US roaming

i am going to the US for some time and am looking for a cost efficient plan. i won't need data, just the ability to make or recieve calls/texts. does the $15/mo plan include US roaming? any suggestions on which plan fits me best?

Personally, @usbarlas , I would recommend purchasing a prepaid plan from T mobile while down there.

Much better reliability all around, especially with calling and data allotments.

Unfortunately, your $15 plan only works when you call from Canada.

Depending how long you are down in the US. You need to purchase US Roaming Add-on in 15 days time frame.

If you are staying for a month, purchase Mint Mobile or Tello Mobile SIM.

You can also use WhatsApp and TextNow app for free calling and texting through wifi.

@usbarlas , there's no plan that includes US roaming.  Roaming is covered by a separate add-on purchase that can be added to any plan.

@usbarlas  For any extended stays in the US PM doesn't have any decent plans.  They have 15 day blocks of US talk/text plans.  Makes sense for a 2 week vacation but may not be cost effective for long term stays In the US.  if you're going to be away long you may want to suspend your account and reactivate before 90 days.  After 90 days of suspension the account and number are deleted.  With the account suspended purchasing a local SIM may be for cost effective. But it depends how long you plan to be away.
