ZTE phone refurbished. SIM card not in.

It keeps saying SIM card not in. I have to close phone and re start phone twice. Or open the battery?

anyone with this issue??

Yes had to do twice! Then next day… no SIM card appears!

@Dkloo2  Check if you have the sim card inserted properly and in the correct direction

Maybe bring it to a mobile shop and have someone to help or check

 

if you are certain it was inserted but still does not work, open ticket with PM support and you might want to arrange for a return or refund

Most likely phone is not in contact with SIM. Check SIM port on the phone for bent contacts, dust, etc.

If SIM is working in another phone but not in this one, phone is defective (at least SIM port is).

You have to remove the back cover and battery first.

The sim card goes in under the battery.

 

Then restart your phone again.
