Worried just in case if I get charged

so this is my current plan includes

50GB of data for use within Canada, US & Mexico at 5G speed up to 250 Mbps
Unlimited Canada, US & Mexico minutes and messaging plus unlimited international text and picture messaging

I just wanted to confirm that I wouldn't get charged for calling or texting a friend in the united states as this will be the first time I'm calling or texting someone with in the united states directly with a cell provider, while I'm in Canada.

Did anyone else receive issues with getting charged by calling or texting the united states?

I have the same plan. Just turn on you roaming and you are good to go. No additional charges.

worry not. The plan you have works in USA and Mx just as it does in Canada and there's no unexpected charges for calling any number in all 3 countries. Same applies with text and data. If traveling outside Canada, make sure to enable Roaming Data for use in USA/Mx.

Be advised if you're in USA, you will need a cellphone that has VoLTE enabled and is on the Public Mobile whitelist of VoLTE enabled cellphones...not all cells are on the list. If yours isn't, you won't be able to place a call while in USA. Here's some reading and that list is at the bottom of the page....

The Canada, USA and Mexico plan includes all calls and text to and from in all 3 countries…no extra charges.
