Will PM also shut down it’s 3G network?
“T&T is the first of the big three, closing its 3G network on February 22, 2022. T-Mobile has pushed its 3G shutdown to July 1, 2022, after initially planning for an October closing in 2021. Sprint, now merged with T-Mobile, will close its 3G network on May 31, 2022.”
Cut and pasted from Google search.
Bell — including Bell MTS — is shutting down its CDMA or 3G network at the end of this month,

@on2wheels no worry, when time comes, we will all be on 4G with reduced speed:)

I certainly hope our plans can continue, I have no need for a more expensive plan.

That is only in the USA. Old news!
Canada has another 3 years so people on old 3G phones will have to get a new one with 4G/LTE and maybe ones with 5G.

Hi @BEER don't worry, 3G will stay here for at least 2 or 3 years.

Got a link for that Bell? That might also be Manitoba where we already know there's some changes going on.
I googled "canada 3g umts wcdma" and got https://northernbi.com/3g-sunset-update-for-us-and-canadian-network-carriers/

Currently there is no plan to turn off 3G in Canada (as per many posts in Community).
