Will I be switched over to Public Points if I upgrade my plan?

I'm currently on the 15$ plan and I'm benefiting a lot from the previous reward program which has brought my plan down to 6$/mo. I'm thinking that I might benefit from some more calling minutes and mobile data (I currently have to buy a data add-on every few months). I'm considering the new Student plan, but only if it doesn't require me to switch over to the new reward program. I'd like the option to return to paying the same amount that I do now eventually.
Is this possible or does changing my plan force me to switch?

Yeah. I've been procrastinating making the switch I described here because of the price difference, but it would be cheaper than buying multiple data add-ons each month I guess.

@waternlava wow thats quite a jump in plans lol, no you will not be moved to reward points system,all your old rewards will stay with your account

Changing plans will not enroll you in the points system.
