Why friend referral reward is not applied yet

I referred a friend on Oct 14.

He used my referral code. But neither he has been given 19 dollar credit. Nor 1$ reward given to me.

Confirm with your friend if (s)he provided correct referral code. Typos are possible typing O instead of 0 (letter O and zero) and I and 1, etc.

 

If referral code is applied correctly you should see on your account last 4 digits of your friend's phone number.

If you do not see that, code is not properly applied. Your friend has to contact CSA to resolve this issue! And it is $10 off not $19 (see how easy is to make a typo...)

@Matien4433  It appeared almost immediately for me but sometimes it can take up to 48 hours for the referral code to apply. People may make mistakes and entered the code and missed one letter. Stuff like that can happen.

You can contact a CSAgent if you didn't get the referral code processed. They can help you with that kind of stuff.

Just to be clear....have your friend contact customer support.

Second case of a possible issue with entering a referral code at activation but no credit or reward recieved. Let's keep a track of this to see if it continues to pop up.

@Matien4433  usually the one who referred would see the $1 almost instantly and the newly joined should see the $10 within 72 hours.

 

It has been couple weeks, likely something wrong.  But no worry, open a ticket with PM and they should be able to add back without issue.  And in this case, your friend, who joined new, should open this ticket: 

 

1. For faster response (2-48 hours), Click on the bubble in the lower right to request CS Agent assistance, or use this direct link: https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start with typing "Submit a ticket", click "Contact Us", click "Other" from the choices, click "Click here to submit a ticket". Then follow to complete the ticket submission.

**Monitor your Community inbox, envelope on the top right, after ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply and work with you  via messaging there
