Subject says it all, I see two charges for Public Mobile for Nov 4 both in the amount $39.71. Is this expected? I have been a Public Mobile customer for 6 years.

Are the 2 charges posted in your CC account?
If you are reviewing your account. It will show the monthly amount under Purchased plan (negative as the cost of your monthly plan) and Automatic Top-up (positive your monthly payment).
This is not double charges. It is account and balance.
If anytime you are double charge (very slim chance). The system will only pay for your monthly amount. The overcharge will remain as credit to pay for the next month bill so no monies are lost.

Yes, usually on the day of Renewal there are 2 charges. One charge will show the debit, and the other will show how they used the money.
At the end of the day, only 1 chagre will get posted to your account.

Simple. One is a pending charge and one is the actual charge. You can confirm this with your bank.
If this is actually a double charge, contact a csa to be credited.
