I tried adding Public Mobile APN settings with my old sim card in. The saved APN setting disappeared sometimes. I also had the issues setting MMS port, MMC and MNC. These values got changed after I hit "save" button. My cell phone model is Samsung Note 8 (exact model is SM-N950F. Does it mean Public Mobile doesn't support my cell?
@lindawyu0 , there is something wrong here. Even if you were manually creating your own APN, the MCC (mobile country code) and MNC (mobile network code) are self populated based on the SIM card in the phone. MMS port is a user input. Is the phone picking up the SIM card? Even without an APN, you are able to connect to the network and have phone call capabilities. The APN is only for mobile data which includes MMS.
