I started my Public mobile plan in January 2026 and selected a new phone number through the Public Mobile app, using a eSIM card. However, I soon realized that I need to keep my original phone number. So I transferred my original number through the app.
Now I have two phone numbers on my phone, which is causing a lot confusion.
My original number is working properly, both phone calls and messaging. But when I tried to turn off the new number line, no signal appeared and the phone displays "SOS" at the top.
Could you help me delete the new number and move all the service onto my original number.

As you suggested , I turned off my phone and turned back on. Then I reset all the network settings.
Now it is ok. My phone only shows my original number under "Cellular data" (iphone 15)
Thank you very much for all the help.

hi @Gracez123
try Reboot phone and Reset Network Settings and check if that resolve it
if you still see the 2 numbers, tell us which exact screen you saw that.
or post us the screenshot, but remember to cross out the phone numbers before you post

Do you currently have two eSIMs on your phone—one from your old provider and one from Public Mobile? When you completed the number transfer, did you reply “YES” to the confirmation text? If so, your old provider’s eSIM should stop working, and your Public Mobile eSIM should now be using your original number that you ported over.

hi @Gracez123
how many PM accounts you have?
you said 2 phone numbers on your phone? are they from 2 accounts? 2 different PM accounts ? or one PM account and one account from another carrier?
