Hi there, my phone reset itself somehow and now I can't check any of my voicemails because my phone doesn't know the phone number. Does anybody know the number for the voicemail in Manitoba? Thanks! Candace

Set up Voicemail (publicmobile.ca)

can you try reseat the SIM card and Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,

1. power off your device

2. take out the SIM card,

3. waiting a 1 minute

4. put it back and power on,

5. toggling airplane mode off/on,

can you try manually selecting network "3G ONLY" or WCDMA only,

for iPhone visit Here link

or Here link

for android visit Here link ,

and do Rebooting your phone ,This is quick and simple,

*what is mean for Rebooting the phone means to turn off your phone and turn it back on again.

Unfortunately, this doesn't answer the customer's question.  The customer simply needs to know the phone number.  I do agree that restarting the phone could cause the phone to recognize the correct phone number that is programmed on the SIM card, but that isn't related in any way to the setting up the voicemail account.

Yes! It worked. Thanks a bunch!

For future reference if you need to manually update vmail number, on Android, tap 3 vertical dots (in phone app), Settings, Voicemail Settings, tap on Voicemail number, enter new one, OK, done.

@Candykins : As mentioned, a simple shut down, restart should automatically pick up the voicemail settings. It usually doesn't need to be manually entered.

Unless you have some obscure phone.

Okay thank you. My phone won't seem to accept anything. I'll have to ask my son when he gets home from work. But I'll give him this information thanks for your help!
