Hi there I’m going to be out of the country in Mexico this Christmas while I have an important call with my doctor who is based in Canada where I currently live. My question is, do I need to purchase add on services for my trip or will I be charge an overage fee if I accept this incoming call? My plan is the $35/month, says in the description unlimited Canada, US and Mexico wide minutes. However in the add ons I see that you can purchase US roaming talk/text but not Mexico roaming. So I’m a little confused thank you so much if you can help!

I don't even think you need to enable roaming. Usually the roaming toggle on phones is for data.
Voice calls and sms should always be working when roaming in Mexico with a compatible plan.
Anyway, it wouldn't hurt to enable it, but strictly speaking it is not needed for voice calls.

hi @Amelie22
sound like you have the Canada-US-Mex plan, it will allow you to use your Public Mobile service like you are in Canada, able to use data and make and receive call in Mex. There is no other roaming addon you need
just make sure you turn on mobile roaming on your phone and make sure the phone connects to the Mex network
but receiving calls while you are roaming could be tricky, what phone do you have? only phones on this list can use VoLTE

You will have to have Can/USA/Mex plan in order to use your phone seamlessly in either country.
I do not think there is an add-on to HAVE service in Mexico only. Long distance add-on is to call Mexico FROM Canada but not to receive calls.
