Cell phone on, call made from it as per my usage records yesterday. Not a number I recognize or called from my cell as I have limited minutes and rarely use cell to call. 411 reverse shows the number is a Cell Number phone number operated by TELUS Mobility and is located in the city of Halifax. Largely viewed as a scammer. How do I block them from calling out with my phone, using my phone's 100 minutes per month?

Thank you. Good to know.

checking you voicemail does consume your minutes...ring time is included once the call is answered. As you're on the $15 plan with 100 minutes of calling...consider getting the $5 / 500 minutes of Canada wide calling add-on. If you do use up your 100 minutes, those 500 minutes start getting used. If yo have any left over at next renewal..those add-on minutes just roll over until you do use 'em up..even if that takes several months or more.

Yes, I did check my voice mail box, twice. Thank you. But it wasn't at that time and it was maybe 3 minutes, definitely not 10+. Maybe they add them up once a month. Still not 10+. Regardless, really good to know it uses the minutes. Thank you so much! Thoughts of being hacked are now melting away. 🤗 Always something to learn.😋

That number is the number associated with your voice mail box. Every time you call your voice mail to check your mailbox you will see that number in your calling history for the account.
