Unable to call landlines but can call other cellphones. Kootenay area of BC

Hello,

I tried calling a local business but could not.  I get three beeps and then nothing.  The call doesn't go through.  

I called my wife's cell phone with no problem.  My wife called her mother's cell phone with no problem (not public mobile but I think she's using Telus).  

My wife tried calling the same business but it did not work.  She also tried calling her doctor's office but it did not work.  

We both tried calling our home phone (Telus landline) it those calls did not work.

Something strange is afoot.

try to restart your phone or remove the sim card and put it back

@ThrZeke   There is a known network issue in the BC area that involves not being able to make outbound calls to landlines.  The issue has been reported to the engineering department and is been investigated.  Hopefully it will be resolved soon.
