Umidigi 5g phone

I have an umidgi g9 5g phone 

I like it, and it is meant as a replacement phone for the future. But it will only connect at 3G

Can someone give me some information that would help me get the best from the phone for use as a public mobile phone?

This phone should work on PM.

Go the the cellular setting and change to 4G/LTE or 5G.

@MichaelBonner , make sure you are running the latest OTA updates and ensure that the VoLTE setting is enabled.  Also, dial this sequence *#*#4636#*#* to bring up the hidden menu and check IMS service status.  It should indicate whether VoLTE is available or not.  BTW, I have 2 Umidigis that are much older and both are VoLTE enabled in this service.  I don't a reason why a newer model won't work.
