Purchased a 15 day talk and text add on before leaving home. On the 15th day, when the plan had run out and I could not make calls anymore I purchased a second 15 day plan. Instead of activating the add on the app added the amount to my normal plan and now I have a credit there, but no way to make calls.
I tried to move that credit over to the talk and text plan. The app acknowledges the activity but does nothing… How do I get that plan activated? Please advise. And thanks.

Thanks Terry - I was not aware of that 24 hour wait time - it's inconvenient when you're out of the country and your phone is the contact tool you need in so many ways.
I did not read about that 24 hour wait anywhere when I signed up - It would be a good idea for Public Mobile to post that note for us to see when we're signing up for the plan. Thanks for your help.

Perhaps PM has assigned your payment only to regular renewals? Could you try paying a different amount directly to the add on? Worst case, you will have twice the credit for future renewals. Or, if that doesn't work, open a ticket with customer service.

You will need for the first add-on to expire and wait 24 hours before purchasing a second add-on before moving the credit over to the second add-on.
Meanwhile, I would suggest you use WhatsApp or TextNow app through wifi to make calls or texting until the first add-on expires.
You can contact a CS_Agent for the second add-on purchase if you run into issues.

Thanks for the input. I’ve tried that now more than once a few days in a row it acknowledges my request, but nothing changes. The credit stays in my regular account and the plan does not activate.

You need to wait 24 hours before getting a second US add-on. Suggest you do that, and try again. Your other credit will still be there for next renewal.
