I have a new phone that uses a nano SIM card. My current phone is old with a standard SIM card. Can I transfer my phone number over to new a nano public mobile SIM card?

If you require a newer SIM card that has the nano option, you can pick one up at Amazon for $4.99 or if you have a Mobile Klinic in your area. You can also pick one up locally maybe using this link. https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/bc/pick-up-SIM
Then once you have it, log into your account via this link and change the number and save. It's that easy.

Another option, depending on what phone you have now, see if there is an eSIM option. You can go onto the pm app and purchase an eSIM for $5. And if you ever switch phones again, the next one is free. This way it leaves your physical slot open for another SIM card if you go on vacation or something.

Unless your Public Mobile SIM card was purchased some time approximately early 2016, all Public Mobile since then have been all-in-one sizes. If that's the case, you can separate the extra pieces of plastic to change your SIM card into a nano SIM. If you do have one of the order larger sized SIM cards that cannot be changed in that manner, you will need to purchase a new Public Mobile SIM card.
