I tried transferring my number to a new provider yesterday but now I have no cell service from Public Mobile or Freedom Mobile
i also can’t access my account to see details of my account #

@lianathor Normally to port in a phone number from another provider you would have to provide the account number. Another option may be the IMEI number. You said you can't access your Public Mobile account to get the account number. So did you give Freedom the IMEI number instead?

Your account must be active to port your number over to Freedom. If you unsubscribe and didn’t keep up with your monthly payment then you can’t port out. Check with a CS_Agent on the status of your account. If your account is suspended, you might have to make a manual payment to continue service with PM then port out.
The other option is to pick a new number with Freedom if your PM account is closed.

PM never sent me a text confirming I wanted to transfer my number so I am in this limbo land where I can’t even confirm my account # from Public Mobile.

Once you port out then your account will be closed. I assume you replied to the text from PM with YES confirming you are porting to Freedom.
Check with Freedom on the status of your service with them.

if you cannot access PM account, the line was ported and hence account closed. I think Freedom dropped the ball here, ask them
since they screw up already, maybe it is a bad decision to move over, rethink

hi @lianathor if the PM service work yesterday but not today after you requested porting, that mean the port was completed. Check with your new carrier a out porting status
