I transferred my Koodo number to PM where I already had an eSIM activated with a temporary number. After the transfer, I receive calls and texts on the ported number, however in the phone settings it still detects the eSIM having the old temporary number so I cannot register my previous Koodo number on iMessage. Does this require a new eSIM to update the number?

Thanks, I reset the network settings and it appears to be fixed now

you sure you receive inbound calls on the PM esim?
no need new esim. Start with Reboot and Reset Network Settings. It usually will correct the phone number
if not, then you will go to Settings, remove the phone number manually, reboot phone and then add the phone number back manually at the settings page

Try rebooting the phone. If that doesnèt work, do a Network Reset on the phone and reboot.

@sidkothariNB Make sure you remove the old sim and reboot the phone or reset network seating and check again
