I received a message that I entered incorrect ESN/MEID. Original phone number ###-###-####
I had entered my IMEI as instructed - but apparently I should have entered the ESN/MEID.
I approved the transfer of the number from Virgin Mobile as per their text request and then received the message from Public Mobile saying you need ESN/MEID. Here is is my MEID number ##############
my account number with Virgin is ########

better to use account number of your old provider instead of IMEI
There is a number to call to talk to live support. You can provide them the correct information and they can re-trigger the process for you. I will message the number to you via the Community inbox ( https://productioncommunity.publicmobile.ca/t5/notes/privatenotespage ) . Check the envelope icon on top right. Call them and get it fixed
