Toronto account - can't text from Montreal.

Have weird situation - My account with Toronto number has no problem texting from Toronto,  Ontario -to Montreal ---However my phone won't text from Montreal to Toronto.  My phone's setting has SMS and MMS enabled.

What is wrong?

Well that is weird @Tsawwassen .

Can your phone call from Montreal to the Toronto number ? Just checking if the number was put on the blocking list by accident....or, is the Toronto phone set up to only accept calls from people listed in the contacts? Check the settings in the phone app.

Could you perform this task before and this is all of a sudden..if so, a network issue maybe?

Also, have you tried restarting the phone that is trying to text to the Toronto number? Removing and reinserting your SIM card may help too. Or, even a reset of the device's network settings.

Wow that's a weird one. Try:

• Reboot your phone.
• Toggle airplane mode on/off.
• Clear your messaging apps cache.
• Reset your network settings.

I guess you rebooted phone already?  Are you on Android, try clear app cache or try a different text app
