My plan ran out and need it asap. I kept trying to redeem my vouchers and kept getting an error. I realized that the store gave me koodo instead of public mobile. I hope i can get the amount credited to my account.

You will have to try and get a refund from the store that sold you the voucher. If you specifically asked for Public Mobile and the clerk sold you the wrong voucher (Koodo) then the error is on their part but you will probably have to speak with the manager as generally vouchers are non-refundable. If you used a credit card you can do a charge back and/or tell the manager you plan to do so may encourage them to issue the refund and apply it to the purchase of a Public Mobile voucher.
Here are more detailed threads offering info on vouchers and other payment alternatives by @darlicious that you may find helpful:
Muskbird offers both vouchers and instant top ups (RTR). The cheapest surcharge fee is on interac/e-transfers form of payment vs credit card or PayPal which now charges 10% up from 7.5% previously.

you can refund to store in most cases,
however you have to purchase a new Public mobile voucher or pay online

You have to have correct voucher. PM staff will not credit your account with any other voucher.

Try to go back to the store. Probably out of luck though. Generally vouchers are non refundable. Do you have any friends or family with Koodo? Maybe you can sell the voucher to them.

You will get a refund from Koodo. I don’t know if they carry PM vouchers.
Vouchers can be purchased from 7-11, Canadian Tire gas stations, London Drugs, Canadian Superstore, Shell, Shoppers Drugmart, Safeway, Staples

Hi @S20142000
Sadly you will have to go back to the store and purchase a Public Mobile Voucher as they are two different companies under the same umbrella. It sucks but maybe they can refund you the other one.
EDIT: I keep forgetting about this site. Oracles have recommended this site.
