The weather affects reception?

Hi, Ottawa south here.

The last 2 days with all the storms rolling through my service has been quite spotty around the Uplands/Hunt Club area.

Is it just me, my device, or is this a common phenomenon?

I'm suspecting its the radio firmware on my Nexus 4 that is causing the problem.

When I was on Purple and the same phone, stock firmware I never had this issue.

It is typical for weather to affect all types of wireless signals, particularly very heavy rain and sometimes lightening. Under heavy rain conditions you will normally lose signal strength, which can result in spotty reception. Don't think you have anything to worry about.
