Your tax rate you pay depends on which province you have a phone number, set up in. It doesn't matter where you live.

are you still using an Ontario phone number? tax rate are based on the "location" of the phone number, area code. So, if you are still using a phone number with a Ontario area code, you will get charged with Ontario tax rate
However, there is a workarorund to save the tax. Get a voucher from store in your area. For voucher, it is taxed based on the tax in your province. Then you can load your voucher using *611 or My Account. it is a bit of work, but probably worth it

HI @christy817
if you are talking about the data bonus from Christmas, you can try to open ticket with CS agent and see if the can still add it back for you
at : https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.
First type Contact,
then select the only choice there: "Contact..",
from the list of , choose "Other"
finally click link the blue link about submit a ticket
Another page will open and just follow: .
After ticket is submitted, make sure to check your Community Inbox(top right corner envelope icon) periodically for response from PM
If you have problems submitting a ticket, you can open ticket by private message (but this can take longer):

To get the reduced sales tax, you would need to change your phone number to an Alberta number. Which data promotion are you asking about?
