So i jusy recently switched from Rogers to Public mobile. I sent up the account on my device(Samsung s23) it said to just take a new number then portal the old one in after. Thats what I did. When i portaled the old number it kept both lines active, I got the text on my old phone from rogers to accept the portal transfer. However in my sim manager it shows the physical sim in my phone as my old number and the esim as the new number. Calls and texts are still going to my old number except pictures form a group chat with that person and my old number. It will say at the top emergency calls only but ill still have service. Im just confused if its bugged or what? In public mobile it says my number is the old number however when logging in to here it says a text to the new number and i dont get it and i have to get the code via email.

I have rebooted and waited but it still seems to have been improperly. When I get a text that's a picture it will great a group chat and if a reply to that chat it will be from my old number texting me back In the chat
