My services were due to be paid today and I decided not to continue with Public. I have asked to transfer my number but have not received an SMS message to reply too. I really dont want to pay for more service with Public but want to keep my phone number. What do I do?

@Niecerie your Public Mobile account must be active to port out. This is a rule for any provider.
Are you switching to Telus or Koodo?
If not, you have to pay another month to reactivate your or they will not release your phone number. Log back on and pay the cheapest plan to resume service and try the port again with the new provider. Then you will lose the funds paid to PM as they will not credit you anything back.
Next time initiate the port 3 days prior to the new renewal to avoid this.
