My wifes purse, phone and cc was stolen out of her car. I have a new sim card for her older phone that I want to use on her account but I can't get into her account because it sends the confirmation code to her cell number of the phone that was stolen. How do I get access to that phone number again on this new sim card? Please help. Even her apple id is tied to that number and we can't access apple confirmation because it's sending to the stolen phone so we don't have access to the texts. I do'nt understand why a person can't choose email to get the confirmation code like you can on password reset...

Sorry to learn of what happened to her.
When it ask for the code, there is an option to send the code again to voicemail or email. Click didn't receive code to see the options.
