Hi there.
I've had a sim card for months, but its unclear to me how to get it set up. Here is the basic breakdown.
1) I have a Koodo line, with an unlocked phone.
2) I want to keep my number.
3) have then sim card at home.
4) been trying to get the $40/mo 4GB plan.
5) I know it expired but I've had my simcard sitting here before it expired.
Can anyone help me out? a Mod?
Thanks,
Auri.

Hi @aurimar498,
I see that Amanda messaged you on Friday. If you still need assistance, please send me your Public Mobile phone number via private message.
Thank you!

Can any mod confirm with me that the plan will get honored? I have the Sim Order # that confirms I ordered before Nov 16.
Anyone know the Mod to contact for this? I've messaged two of them last week and boths PMs have not been read yet.

thanks for your quick reply.
Ok so I have to do it myself.
1) How would they switch my plan later?
2) Who do I contact?
3) I will change my koodo email right away.

From my understanding, if you have ordered the SIM card before November 16 then they'll honour the deal. When you choose your plan, you pick 90-days, Province-wide, Global text and 6 GB (not 12 GB).
Make sure you use a temporary number when you first activate the SIM card and then you can port later.
You can port your Koodo number through the self-serve on Public Mobile's website. You can port yourself by click on Plan and Add-ons tab when you first log in to your account and then click Change phone number.
Also a thing to note, make sure the e-mail address you use for Koodo is different than the one you use for Public Mobile. If you have the same e-mail address, you can easily change it on the Koodo self-serve website.
Once everything is ported correctly, private message a mod and give them the information of the SIM card order number and that you are eligible for the promo deal and they'll end up switching it for you.
Wait for more replies because these are things I gathered from the forum, so just wait for a second opinion.
