every case is different. But from what we saw, from those who reported back, PM always willing to provide refund if the account was not fully activated. If what you said was right, then they should. But if you have used the service a day or so, then sorry, they won't provide refund.

@Cartermccracken Then I would message support again and ask for the situation to be escalated to senior staff , and if your just finished with public mobile and don’t want to use their service ever again you could always ask your bank to do a charge back

HI @Cartermccracken PM is a prepaid provider and do not provide refund. if you don't need the account and the number, you can try to check with the credit card to find a way out

not common and I never see that
we are just customers here. We can stand by you, and cheer for you but we can not give you the money back. You have to ask PM. Sound like you are already doing so. But remember, PM is a prepaid provider, by law, prepaid provider allows you to opt out anytime, but they have no obligation to refund you the money you paid.

Public Mobile is a prepaid service, and as a general rule there are no refunds. It's the buyers responsibility to verify device compatibility.
What happened? Did you end up paying for a month of service you couldn't use? What phone do you have?

@Cartermccracken Public mobile is pre paid service and no refunds / pro rating for unused time , if you were not able to activate then they will give refund but if you activated and your phone not compatible that’s not PM fault you could always get a new phone that is compatible and still use the service . Sorry I know that’s not what you want to hear and no it’s not normal for public mobile to steal money . Please note I’m just customer like you trying to help so id just get new phone or if your phone not eSIM compatible just go with physical SIM card instead and use the service and get your moneys worth out of the service
