Is there a TELUS problem which requires US roaming fees  at this time for calling a Yukon phone number that is also registered with Public MOBILE.

Hello @yukonpat

You can check here if the area you're in has coverage. https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/coverage

It looks like the Yukon is very limited in coverage. The other thing is that if you have your network settings on your phone set to automatica, it may be reading another tower which may set off that warning. You may wish to consider turning off automatic and pick public mobile and reboot it. Then if you're still getting those errors and there ARE public mobiles in that area, you may wish to reach out to a CS Agent for assistance to find out why you're getting that.

Hello @yukonpat , Need more information. Are you also in Yukon? Why do you mention US Roaming fees? Did you try dialling with and without the "1" (10 or 11-digits)? What happens when you call (e.g., fast busy, recorded message, etc.)?

Either you or the other end might have suspended service.

Adding - you can check you and them. You dial 611 and get the recording. If it gives you a renewal date and balance then good. Then if that is good then dial 1-855-4pu-blic and enter their number and get the recording. Same thing. See what it has to say.
