@johnluk if yours is a Canadian model of A14, it should be fully compatible.
But confirm the model you got , check Option-About and see what exact model number is that.
But in most case, even a non-Canadian version should work ok , although might not be great.
Are you getting some drop calls issue? or not connected to the network at all?

What issue do you have? If it's data, then make sure APN setting is correct:

Looks fine. What problems are you having? Try setting networks to LTE/3G/2G if maybe it's set to 5G etc. There's no 5G here so may as well not try finding it.
