SMS notice placing account on hold error

Hi, I received a text stating that my account was placed on hold due to an unresolved issue with my payment. My phone was still working and my account online shows that it is paid. I am on the $50 40GB US-Can plan which auto pays every month. I put in a manual payment and it went through but now have double paid for the month. Am I going to receive these texts every month?

I've had 3 Referrals reach out to me with this same issue in the last two days, even ones who have $100+ in their account and able to cover at least another two months are getting the 'Public Mobile Here - We've had an issue processing your payment' meanwhile everything is working and there is no issues. 

I'll be making a post about it later on.

Thanks for asking/answering this as I also received the same text today and to update my payment info. Strange cuz I'm on autopay & it shows my payment was made. I re-entered my cc info so hopefully I'm not overcharged.

if that's the case and phone is still working as expected...just ignore those messages. Hopefully they'll quit sending them in err...eventually.

No changes. I made a manual payment with the same card. This is my second month with public so it was concerning to receive this message.

as long as your phones talk/text/data are working as expected...ignore this spurious messages.Have you had to change credit card info lately ? Did you do a charge-back recently ?

if you have service now and you are certain you paid , then just ignore the text.  PM has been sending the text by mistake to some subscribers.
