Hello,
I am trying to receive a text from my bank in Australia which usually arrives just fine, but for some reason it has not happened in several months. See attached screenshot for reference. Please can you see if there is a denied SMS to my phone number and if so lift any block or ban that might be in place.
I have already contacted the bank and they are not able to do anything and said that it is very likely on the providers end.
Thank you.
Best, Joseph

@jorourke sorry, nothing much you can do as this type of international 2FA are usually blocked. It might have worked before but it could stop because the system found those messages not supposed to get through and blocked it
The only things you can do is ask your Australian bank if there are other ways to receive the code, email or voice call 9r Authenticator app (Best!!)

How would I change the type of text that they send me? Would this be possible? Why did it used to work but now does not?
Thank you.

international shortcode text, like 2FA text from US banks, are not guaranteed., it is a hit or miss. Regular international text are ok but not shortcodes. It might work on some providers sometime and experience show it will broke sometime
only Canadian shortcode text found here are guaranteed

I use Google Messages on an android phone. I'm actually not sure if that's the native app or not, but it is called "Messages", so it certainly seems like it.
Yes I was able to SMS using this number to and from Australian numbers.

Do you use native phone's texting app or it is 3rd party?
Can you receive ANY SMS from Australia? Can anybody down under receive your SMS?
