Hi I have a PM account with my S9. I have a s20 now and have swapped the SIM card. I have no network on the S20 but do on my S9. Do I need to reset something or a new SIM card for the S20? Thank You.

if the phone was locked , he should get an error rather than just have no network

Are you sure S20 is not locked? If you bought it privately it could be...
Try any other PM SIM in that S20 and see will it work. And use SIM from different providers, to confirm if it is locked and to which provider, if any.
Or just S20 is bad phone... or contacts are broken or dirty so no connection with SIM.

@Snaggle213 on the S20 you can try resetting networks (note that this will also clear your WiFi and Bluetooth connections so you'll need to reconnect your devices). Is this does not work see if there is another phone besides the S9 to try the SIM. If it works in another phone it could be an issue with the S20 as @slusagm has suggested
