My friend changed the subscription for plan effective immediately. His old plan was renewed just few days back. How will he get back the credit?

hi @sudhirmool123 thanks for confirming and glad I didn't give you false hope
Credit is a smart choice as refund could take long to receive

Thank you everyone. My friend said they are providing credit or refund. My friend opted for credit. so all good.

hi @Handy1 no false hope. I don't give wrong info
There were couple customers Change Now on Day 1 of the new cycle and support able to help. Support reverse the change and funds and let them stay with old plan
I did mention that since OP's friend was couple days in already and support might not be able to help and just encourage him to ask. So no false hope here but just laying out facts and sharing experiences

@hTideGnow Why double down you know the answer or this is attempt at false hope and excepted solution

Says no refund before you pay for immediate plan change . Sorry not trying to be mean but give you accurate info

hi @sudhirmool123 you can try asking agent as I mentioned above
but that was why there are Change on Renewal and Change Now option. Usually we ask people to use Change on Renewal
But, don't give up, ask support. Usually if they change wrong in Day 1 , support will hel, but it is hard to tell in your friend's case

Where does it mention that it won't be refunded. Any way to contact them?

Hey there, it is usually advised to change plans on renewal dates so that you dont waste any unused amount. You can ask a public mobile customer service agent to give you a refund for the unused amount but they may or may not depending on their discretion. But it doesnt hurt to ask, you can message them here:
