Referral Bonus Messed Up

For some reason my referral credit is down this month. Looking at the rewards site, it still shows the same number of accounts included in the pay cycle, but the reward amount is one less.

Probably one of your referral account is inactive or suspended at the present time. When the account is re-activated, your extra $1 should be included in your rewards in the future.   If your friend leaves PM or is suspended more than 90 days, the $1 referral credit is lost forever.

If all your referrals are in your account remained the same but your rewards are 1 less. There might be a glitch so contact a CS_Agent by private messaging or create a ticket by SIMon Chatbot on this Community page so they can investigate the issue.

PM staff will be available between 6:00am to 10:00pm EST so keep you eyes on the envelope icon tomorrow if you put in your ticket.

Also you should have got a text if a member decided to leave PM.

Was it like that on your renewal? You could have had a referral suspended when you went thru renewal and they reactivated after that.

Oh I get what you are saying....are you seeing your regular amount of referrals and associated last 4 digits of their phone numbers but the $$ amount is less? ie. 10 referrals/phone #'s but only $9 showing for referral rewards? That means one of your referrals are suspended for non payment.

You only get a text when a referral suspends via lost/stolen.

Yes that is what I'm seeing. If one of them is suspended, the website should show some indication. It makes no sense to say 10 referrals included but only provide reward for 9.

HI @umnikke8  Yes, the site does not show very clearly which one was the one suspended.   And sometimes, it said a number has gone (you got a text about that) and then it comes back the next day

But, at least we are seeing the referrals on the old rewards system, I think for those on the next rewards, they won't even see the friends list

Actually that is an improvement to how it previously used to display your referrals. Now when the friends list is displayed you  decipher it as follows using 10 referrals as an example :

  1. 10 friend referrals displayed and $10 in rewards=10 active referrals
  2. 10 friend referrals and $9 in rewards=9 active referrals+1 suspended for non payment
  3. 9 friend referrals and $9 in rewards+text*=9 active referrals+1 suspended via lost/stolen
  4. 9 friend referrals and $9 in rewards+no text**=9 active referrals+1 lost referral/not a customer

* A customer that suspends via lost/stolen whether briefly or for up to 90 days beyond their last day of service will generate a pm text at midnight eastern that same day telling the referrer that their rewards may be less upon their next renewal. When the referral unsuspends during paid service and/or reactivates the friend referral and $1 reappears in your rewards account/list. (A referral that unsuspends via lost/stolen but does not reactivate paid service needs to be tested but should appear on your friends list without the $1 reward showing in your reward $$ total.)

**If both your friend referrals and $$ rewards drop without a pm text then a referral ported out, its been more than 90 days since recieving a pm text a self suspended referral has had their account cancelled or a referral suspended for non payment has had their account cancelled after 90 days and the last 4 digits of their phone # will disappear from your friends list to match the missing $1 reward.

If you know your referrals personally you may want to keep a rough estimate of their suspension date and remind them at your best guesstimate of the 60th to 75th day of suspension to remind them of their upcoming dooms-day 90. Referrals intending to leave that are on the rewards program may be worth saving by account takeover and "reselling" the account to a new referral so you keep that reward.
