Hello,
I have used my Public Points to redeem $15 credit for my $15 plan. I've redeemed the credit in August 2024, and twice in January 2025. None of the redemptions have worked, and I continue to be charged in full for my plans via Autopay.
Do these points actually work?

It always worked for me. In fact I had enough points for 2x $15 vouchers. I went into the public mobile app, looked under rewards then tapped redeem. It applied it to my account right away. Then when the bill was due I paid the remainder. I would try the app. I find the website can be glitchy. It will show up in your payments area.

P.S. I also noticed that redeeming the points has also never worked for some family members of mine. We have to go through this process of creating a ticket, explaining the situation, and having the agent regurgitate that the points have been redeemed and credited - yet our credit cards continue to be charged the full amount every month.

How do I receive my credit for the 3x $15 I redeemed from my Public Points? It shows that my points have been redeemed, but yet it is not applied as credit for my plan and therefore I have always been charged in full on my credit card, even on the months where it should have been paying with Points.

I have redeemed the points successfully but my credit card continues to be charged in full. I have never had the points applied successfully as payment, even though it shows up on the Public Points side as redeemed.

Yes, I've been able to "redeem" the points, and it shows on the Public Points page under Activity > Redemption. That has been fine. I have done this 3x and it appears that I have redeemed my points successfully as a $15 credit. However, my credit card continues to be charged in full. On the Public Mobile payments page, it just shows that I've paid $15 for my plan (yeah, they take it from my credit card, not my Public Points).

@JDawg7878 It's always worked fine for me. I just tested and redeemed 15 points for $15. You do have to tap on things two or three times to get there and confirm. Then you get screen saying redemption confirmed and how many points are now left. Then there is an email confirmation. What exactly happened when you tried? Did you see the points decrease but the $15 didn't go into available funds?

Hmm, something is not correct. I can confirm that I personally have redeemed my points 2x in the past few months and my credit card was NOT charged as I have lots of points!!
I redeemed 15 points 3x and when my renewal came it took the balance and the reminder of my points is showing as available funds still.
Click on the Payment tab and review payments. Under the main tab, you should also see a section that says Available Funds. If you have redeemed points, it will show there.
