I stopped paying the data for my phone for 3 months(just past 90days,like 94days) approximately cuz i just away from country and now that I’m trying to pay it, it says “no service” and my email public account still connect with my old phone number , so unable to useing the mobile verification code ,i accessed my account using my email instead , after i selected a plan to activate my account ,but the system indicated that my sim card cannot be used, then i chose an esim and completed the payment, however, at the end, i was prompted to select a new phone number which is not waht i want.
i need to keep my existing number ,if icant ,i dont need a new number activate. in that case ,could i plz issue a refund ? thank u for ur assistance

Unfortunately, once your account is closed for nonpayment longer than 90 days, your SIM will no longer work, no access to your account and your number has been returned to the carrier you original got the number from. If you really want the number back. You need to contact them and see if it is available and you need to open a new account with them but it might be more expensive.
You are left with the new number with PM. As long as you haven’t make calls, used data or make texts. You can ask for a refund if you want to close your current account.

You can always pick a new number if you don’t like your current number.
In the future, if you want to keep your number if you are out of Canada…continue to pay your monthly bill.
