I have similar problem porting from Virgin mobile.
I have outgoing calling, incoming and outgoing text, and data works.
No incoming calling!

I just spoke with virgin, they say they can not reactivate my account and the number is open domain.

How do I contact Virgin, I only ever did this by 611 before?

@mister - YES. The old account MUST be active in order to be able to transfer (port) the number to a new provider. you will need to contact Virgin and re-establish your account for a few days (on any plan), so that the transfer can be re-tried.

@mister - I replied to your other post. Just to add, if callers are getting number not in service, and your Virgin account was Active when you initiated the port, that means that the port was partially done. Have you restarted the phone?
If it doesn;t start working after that, you might need to contact moderators to complete the port for you.

Transfer from Virgin mobile number.
Outgoing calls work, texting in and out work, data works!
Incoming callers recieve message "number not in service"

Hey @mister - When you iitiate a port, and you can make outgoing calls, but incomming calls do not get through, this means that the number port is not yet complete. You old Virgin SIM should still be working until the port is done. note that if your Virgin plan is not active, the port will not go through. How long has it been since you initiated the port (activation?)?
