This doesnt work I am in same situation

Activate ESIM

Start port request

Wait (doesnt complete)

Try to login (cant since stupid Eversafe tries sending text to PHONE number instead of letting it continue sending text to email)

Contact customer service (ask to login, cant due to Eversafe)

Contact Koodo port management (cant since need Public account access)

Contact previous brand number is porting from (advise there was NO port request ever made by Public)

I absolutely agree with JB130 this new process is garbage vs the older no app no eversafe way of how they used to do things

This is the problem with no phone support which I get is part of the point of using Public. You wanna pay less, you get less. Which is not a solution to expensive services overall but that's maybe a topic that'll never be settled because money talks. Also, if customers are willing to pay $60 plus a month for service, why wouldn't the companies themselves roll with it? No businessman has ever been like "I don't want more profit".

Customer service is slower here at Public mobile, but usually can make things right.  Just need to be a bit patient.  

For landline ports, I usually recommend first activating with a temporary new phone number. Get the service working and then later on port over the landline.  It can take several days for landline ports to be completed. At least with a temporary phone number, you will still have some service as you wait for the port to be completed.

Yeah line is active (partial port so sending / reciving calls)

This one is worse than my previous issues because it was a landline port

Credit card is charged and Eversafe says "we see you have an active phone number so we wont let you log in via email codes until AFTER you validate your phone number". Eversafe itself is blocking the email code option (I cant even view my account number etc, I can only go here on message boards). BEFORE port began I could use email codes not anymore.

I just emailed in the end (since chat + account access are impossible due to Eversafe)

CS rep simply repeated same questions as sign up did & made claim somoene tried to contact us (they seem to always say this; I almost feel like port management is calling the number that failed porting, I cant imagine any other scenario where multiple reps claim call and do not call)

Public needs to make the process easier for porting

As well (strangely) I notice when there IS an error they NEVER contact you to resolve it

They just leave it in limbo until you finally get through email responses
