Purchasing more than 1.25 GB of U.S. Data

Hey,

So I’m going on a trip to Vegas and I will definitely be needing data for my trip. I noticed that there is not very much data add ons available and I’m seeing mixed info about whether I’m able to purchase more data before or after the 10 day period is up. So if I use all of the 1.25 GB of data i purchased how do I go about buying more before the 10 day period is up?

The only way to re-buy the same add-on before its 10 days is using the support people.

I suggest buying the 1gb add-on first. However many days later maybe you find you've used it all. Then buy the 500MB. However many days later but still within the first 1gb-10 days you find you've used it all then buy the 250MB. Now you have a staggered add-on schedule. The first 10 days expires and the next day you can re-buy it even while the others are active. And so on.

But you can also be sparing with your data by using wifi. And if you're driving and you need maps then you can download areas and use offline. The GPS position will show on the map. You would only need data if you wish to use navigation or directions.

If that much data is needed, I’d recommend you look into a US SIM card to use while you’re away.

Only 1gb at a time as noted by @cellphoneuser1 . Best you purchase the Roaming Add-ons with the free wifi at the airport. The time of 240 minutes (10 days) starts on the minute you make your purchase.

Also connect to free wifi at the casinos/hotels.

You can't buy more because you can't have more than one of the same roaming add-on.  You have to use it all first. When the roaming data expires in 10 days if you didn't use all, you can't buy more until 24 hours later unless you ask a CSA for help.
