Proof of old number

I changed my number in August 2022. I have an account with a store that is not allowing me to change the number without proof that I was the account holder. I no longer use the email associated. How do I get proof that i was the holder of my old number? I tried to download my old bill but it's only showing the account number

It occured to me afterwards that do you still have any emails from that store from back then before you let the email address go? Like old items in all inboxes. I keep just about everything digital.

HI @Mochasplash   what are you trying to do?  trying to port a number out?

 

you can just provide the IMEI number to the new provider and they might be able to do so

 

if not, then submit a ticket with PM and ask them the account number. 

 

But You said you don't use the email associated but you can download the bill, the account number with the sufficient for porting

Quite the conundrum. This link shows an old style invoice. I'm not sure what it would have now. But it had the number on it then. You would need to ask support as above.

@Mochasplash You change the phone number via login to My Account

 

Understand you cannot login to My Account now, open ticket with PM support to get access back first:

1.  Open ticket with Chatbot for faster response (2-48 hours), using direct link: https://publicmobile.ca/chatbot.

Start by typing "Forgot Login Information", then click "Contact Us",, then click "Click here to submit a ticket ↗" 

2. if you have problem with Chatbot: Private message CS Agent at:

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened. CS Agent will reply to you there
