Is the promotion deal of $18.00 a month with 1 GB data which will end on 22 oct 2024 legitimate and originated from Public?

Does that plan has all the existing features of the legacy $15.00 monthly subscription plan that it is succeeding?

Thanks, Slusagm. Just wanted to let you know that I was able to change the subscription plan from my account. It’s now the $18 ULCW Base Plan – 1GB 4G, which has been a great plan so far.

My daughter is using the phone, and I’m not sure if she received the text and replied “Yes” to it. I checked the bill — it’s already showing $18 — but the plan details haven’t changed. It still says: “$18 Phoenix 250MB LCW Base Plan Public.” I usually don’t access the account myself, so can I still go to My Account → Change Subscription page now to update the plan?

I just realized that my subscription plan is the $18 plan, but everything still seems the same — 250 MB data and 100 minutes as $15 plan— instead of the advertised Unlimited Canada-wide minutes and 1 GB of data at 4G speed.

Don't see the $18.00 plan offered. There is a $20.00 plan without any included data.

So this $18.00 offer is a "good deal".

It’s a PM strategy…..not something I can figure out. A promo….I don’t think so. 
We got a text warning for each of our 3 $15 plans. They would remain as is but the price would be $18 starting Oct xx.  And the text suggested to look at “change subscription” and I find a $18 plan that gave me more mb of data and unlimited outbound minutes and 4g. So upgraded all 3 plans. I lost the 100 LD minutes that I would never use. I like this $18 plan. BUT I don’t see it any more….is it now $20? Who knows?

Should be 2025 not 2024.

It seems that you have already switched over to the subscription. That's good enough for me to confirm that it's a legitimate promotion from Public.

The $18 plan with increase data and unlimited talk and text.

The old $15 plan only had 250mb of data and unlimited texting, unlimited incoming calls and 100 minutes of outgoing calls.

For extra $3…it is worth it.

Where do you see it as a promo with expiry date of Oct 22 2024 (or did you mean 2025?)

the $18 plan is the best plan to get if you currently have a $15 500Mb or 250 Mb plan.  Schedule a plan change now using Change on Renewal before it is gone.  

We don't know how long this offer will stay, but once you are in, you will keep the plan and the price (of course until the next price hike, but PM does not do this often.)

and yes, the $18 plan has 1GB and all the plan features like all other plan, Call waiting, call forwarding, call display, 3 Way calling, voicemail, VoLTE (for compatible phone),

@pchu1023 If you got a text or email about that offer from Public Mobile, then it is legit. It includes all basic features like calling, texting and 4G data. Please read the terms for more details.
