Has anyone tried to port a number to PM from Virgin recently? I'd like to move my daughter's account over but am nervous I won't be able to reach anyone for support if there's a problem.

All done and went smoothly!

As others have said - it’s easy to do . Just be careful not to rush and make sure you double check everything before you proceed.

I ported over from Virigin in January will little to no issues. If you have any problems you submit a ticket or message an agent. Much better than waiting on hold for an 1 hour or more. Also PM plans have good value for the price.
If you have any issues contact customer service agent to fix your issue. Either via the following link:

Or
private message CSA:

My cousin just used my code to port from Virgin last week. Smooth process without problem, all done within 45 mins. And she got the $10 friend credit the next day. Can be easier than that

@Oil_dogg - Another important thing to remember is to keep your Virgin Plus SIM card or eSIM active on the device until it no longer receives any service. This ensures a smooth porting process.

HI @Oil_dogg
don't need to worry about porting. Many port their number daily
first make sure the number can be ported here
https://secure.koodomobile.com/checktransfereligibilityparrot/checkSingle.do
and make sure the account on Virgin still active and mark down the account number
Then download PM app and start subscription. Put in a friend code at the payment step for a $10 saving
then the step after payment is the number porting, enter the phone number and the Virgin account number
Virgin will send you a text to confirm, reply Yes with 90 mins. The number would then be ported an hour or two after

@Oil_dogg Yes it’s easy peasy nothing to worry about just download the app and follow the prompts if you run into any issues come back here and the community will advise what to do next , no worries
leaving old providers SIM card in phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to port . You will have opportunity to transfer the number after you make payment . And just use the old providers account number and ignore the IMEI . Once you have successfully ported number to PM is will automatically close your old providers account for you
