How will I know when my number has been ported?

@WWAJ  If you left old providers sim in the phone and replied YES to the confirmation text and the old providers sim no longer works it’s time to try the PM sim  and test both incomming and out going calls text and data and that should be it , once successfully ported into PM it will automatically close your old providers phone / account for you . Even though you bet message saying it will tel you when to try the PM SIM card it dosent happen as this steps is backwards in the activation process I wrote thread about this check it out here

poring into PM?  Remember port can take another hour or two after you replied the Porting Authorization text to your old carrier

Port is completed whenever the old carrier sim no longer works

or call yourself from another phone.  If the calls get to PM sim card, the port is completed
