Ported number 48h ago, incoming not working

Hi guys,

 

I've ported my number from chatr 48h ago. All outgoing and data services are working but incoming calls are going directly to voicemail and messages aren't getting received. Please help !

Do you have do not disturb turned on?

They are off near the time you send them message.  Also they busy these days, so need more time.  They should get back to you tomorrow.

Unfortunately, you need to be patient.  The moderators are taking about 24 hours to respond to requests and even longer.  Try not to resent requests because each new request, puts your original request to back of the line.  Hopefully, moderators will get back to you tomorrow.  

 

Community Moderators are available from Monday to Friday 9am (EDT) to 9pm (EDT) and Saturday, and Sunday from 9am (EDT) to 7:30pm (EDT)

Unfortunately, it's probably normal...

 

Two things: 

1. You sent your message close to the end of their working day (4 hours ago is around 6 PM Eastern Time)

2. Many people reported delays in moderator response, so we can assume it is peak periode

 

My only advice would be to wait until tomorrow/Monday... In the meantime, if you are lucky, your porting might even get completed by itself 😉

 

During business hours, we strive to answer customer messages swiftly. You will often get an answer within an hour. During peak periods, you may need to wait up to 48 hours.

 

Moderators are available:

  • Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 9 PM Eastern time.
  • Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 7:30 PM Eastern time.

Hi @varsrao,

 

Your incoming calls/texts are maybe still being sent to your old SIM; it looks like you have an incomplete port.

 

You'll have to contact the moderators, they will be able to fix your problem.
