So I have ported my number back to Rogers. But I am in about the middle of my 90 day period with PM, how do I settle up $ wise? I imagine I pay a pro-rated amount for the time I've used in the period or whatever. Help. Account Number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I only have that problem when my significant other doesn't go with me 🙂

The moderator team can still access the account. In one of my migrations, I left in such haste I forgot to remove the credit card. I had to get the moderator team to remove it for me after the fact. Don't you just hate it when you go on a trip and find that you forgot to pack something after arriving at your destination? It is the story of my life.

@will13am once ported out, you can't get into your self-serve account to remove it. You just get the "oops, something went wrong" message if you try to sign into self-serve (trust me, I tried it earlier today after porting to Koodo). That said, once the account is closed, you really don't have to worry about future billings from PM.

@ejgsmith, I would make sure the credit card has been removed from the account even though it is officially closed. It the only way to guarantee to unintended consequences.

@srlawren thanks I read the post too quickly. And based reply on others asking for prorated refunds.
PS I thought you switched to our sister brand. Missing us already 🙂 .glad you are still active here.

@mimmo I don't think @ejgsmith was asking for a pro-rated refund, they were asking if they have a pro-rated bill to pay.
@ejgsmith no, you don't. You already paid for the days you used before porting (and any days you lost by porting out) when you paid during your most recent renewal. Public Mobile plans are all 100% pre-paid. So there's no bill at the end for anything you did use during your most recent cycle, but conversely as @mimmo pointed out, also no refund for any of the days you paid for and couldn't make use of.

No you are all done nothing else to do. Your account has been closed once you ported out and you won't have access to the online self serve. Unfortunately with prepaid if you change mid cycle you are walking away from the other half of service you ahve paid for with no re-imbursement. Think of it like renting a house, you pay for a month but leave on the 15th the home owner isn't going give you half your money back.

Sorry but being prepaid there is no refunds for unused portions of service.
