I have two numbers on an existing account with another provider. I would like to port one number to Public Mobility but keep the other number with the existing provider. Will you just port the one number and leave the account open for the other number?

You might want to contact your previous carrier if you can only port the secondary number or can you port your primary number and keep the secondary number with them.

Hey @Donna1963
Just to add to the other fellas comments, and I strongly suggest following this because too many issue can occur during the process.
First, you need to download the app to create an account with Public Mobile. Once you're all signed up and you have a temporary number, make sure calls worth both coming and going. Then test your text messages to other folks and make sure texts are coming back. Then test your data. Make sure your data is working. Once EVERYTHING is working as it should, then you can log into your account via the phone app or online and you can port your number over when you're ready. I've seen so many issues here where the port is stuck and have to wait hours or until the next day to have it fix and not have phone service. Good luck.

@Donna1963 Thats totally doable , just port the one number you want from old provider to public mobile account and your consumer on old provider will remain with Old provider/account . Just remember to leave old providers sim phone to reply YES to the confirmation text to port number to PM

You're good. You port individuals lines, not full accounts.
