Port from Koodo postpaid with eSim and sim.

I don't really understand eSims. If I sign up with eSim and port my number from Koodo postpaid, can I switch over to a physical sim later?

Also, does the eSim allow me to have a local number as well as my out-of-province ported number?

I guess this means one number with physical sim (other account) and one with eSim:

@smeelah one number for one account, whether you have a physical or eSIM

You can activate with eSIM first but change back to physical sim (the eSIM would then be voided) , but still one phone number
