Plan expired after just setting up new account

Hi i just activated a new sim card for my girl friend and added to that activation a 40$ plan . Problem is that when i enter the account to see her usage and all her things it says plan expired even if i just activated it a few days before its not the firat time that i activate a new simcard with publuc mobile but ita the firat time that this happens. What do i do now im not gona pay twice for a plan i the same week !

Definitely don't pay for it again. I think the best course of action would be contacting the moderators and getting them to check it out for you by clicking the question mark on the bottom right of the screen!

Get her to talk to moderators

Or if you want to do it, change the name on file temporarily and you talk to them. Screenshot your payment history for that account.

Are you sure you are looking at the right one?

Is easy to mix them up if you have more than one.

Also clean your cache and check again, I received a heartattack once like that, though I logged out the previous and logged into the second one, the previous info was still being displayed (without me realising it for couple of minutes)

Is the phone still working? Able to receive and send calls/texts?

Did you port a phone number?

If you just activated then the account could still be in the provisioning stage.

@kevinturpin3625 is her phone working properly? Thanks.  I would contact the moderators and ask them to look into it and to reset it for you. There are 2 ways to contact the Moderator Team:

  • Faster response- Get help with your account the easy way by starting a conversation with our virtual assistant, SIMon. It’ll take you to relevant help articles, or if it’s something more urgent, it can help you submit a ticket to the Moderator Team. Click here to get started.
  • Slower- Alternatively, you can send a private message to the Moderators by clicking here. You’ll need to be logged in to your Community account for the link to work.

Once connected to Simon, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password.  Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
- Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent.

- Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen.  The mods answer will show up there.  When it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue. Stay safe.
